Samael is the angel of God's wrath and fury, he is a Grigori archangel whom was to watch over humanity and help them like many other angels. His personality is very kind, gentle and loving like many of his Grigori brothers and sisters, he cares deeply about humanity and it's progress.

Conspiracy

Many channelers and people who study under the archangels (ascended masters) don't believe that Samael is a fallen angel despite the verses within the mormon bible saying otherwise. Others state that Samael reproduced with human women to help them ascend by giving their offspring a higher understanding and ascended DNA, while according to the Grigori themselves they had reproduced with human beings because they wanted to learn more about human life on this planet, however this didn't pass the Seriphim counsel and they're now mostly dead.
